ADVISORY: Sen. Marie Pinkney to host second annual “State of the State of Corrections” Summit

WHAT: After an inaugural virtual event was held last winter, Senator Marie Pinkney will host the 2nd Annual “State of the State of Corrections” Summit on Wednesday, March 1. This year’s summit will be a one-day, in-person event held at the Route 9 Library & Innovation Center.

The summit will feature four panel discussions highlighting the major issues impacting Delaware’s correctional system and re-entry landscape. Panelists range from subject experts, Delaware DOC staff, community advocates, and individuals directly impacted by the legal system. 

At 3:30 p.m., Senator Pinkney will make an announcement about legislation she has filed to reform Delaware’s probation and parole system.
