Senate Bill 301 (S)

To encourage more people to become life-saving organ donors, Sen. Gay teamed up with living organ donor House Speaker Pete Schwartzkopf to make living organ donation easier for working Delawareans and their employers.

Passed unanimously by the Delaware General Assembly, Senate Bill 301 (S) gives living organ and bone marrow donors a tax credit of up to $10,000 to help defray any costs associated with surgery and recovery. A tax credit is also available to Delaware employers who provide employees with paid time to make a living organ or bone marrow donation.
