Senate Bill 90

Senate Bill 90

The Delaware State Inspire Scholarship Program pays undergraduate tuition for 8 semesters of learning for Delaware students at Delaware State University (DSU). In the past, any student that completed their undergraduate degree in less than 8 semesters would not be reimbursed or get the full amount of the scholarship amount.

Senator Trey Paradee corrected this issue with Senate Bill 90. This bill, which passed unanimously in 2025, rewards students for their hard work by providing additional access and opportunity for them to utilize scholarship funds towards higher education. Now, DSU students are able to access these excess funds from the Inspire Scholarship to pursue a graduate degree.
