Members of the Delaware State Senate Majority Caucus manage an official social media account formally associated with their role as a legislator. Official channels connect directly with constituents on legislative priorities, community projects, state agency news, and more.
Any additional social media managed by a senator, whether for campaign or personal use, must remain separate from official accounts. The social media policies outlined on this page apply to the official senatorial channels linked below:
Policies and Procedures
Blocking Accounts
Because official channels share important government information for public consumption, senators can not block, ban, or restrict an individual from interacting with their page.
Restricting Comments
Social media is considered a public forum where private actors are permitted to exercise their first amendment rights. Senators can not hide or delete comments on the basis of being false, off-topic, or critical in nature.
Senators are permitted to hide or delete comments only if they are obscene, harassing, or threatening to themselves or others.
Accessibility
Official channels are subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act, and our caucus is committed to accommodating anyone who visits this website.
We welcome your feedback to help improve accessibility on our website. If you encounter any barriers or need assistance accessing information, please contact sarah.fulton@delaware.gov.
Caucus Social Media
The Delaware Senate Democrats maintain a caucus Instagram and Facebook account operated and overseen by communications staff. Both of these accounts are considered official channels and adhere to the same social media policies and standards in place for individual government officials.
