Delaware General Assembly cancels Tuesday’s legislative session due to inclement weather

DOVER – Due to the winter storm that brought snow to much of Delaware, Senate President Pro Tempore Dave Sokola and House Speaker Valerie Longhurst have announced that Tuesday’s session proceedings in both chambers are canceled.

The cancellation includes a House Economic Development/Banking/Insurance & Commerce Committee meeting that was previously scheduled for noon on Tuesday.

The House is scheduled to reconvene at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17. The Senate will reconvene at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

All committee meetings for the reminder of the week are slated begin at their previously scheduled times. A listing of upcoming Senate committee meetings can be found here. A listing of upcoming House committee meetings can be found here.
