The Digital Citizenship Education Act established statewide media literacy and healthy online behavior education standards for Delaware’s K-12 public and charter schools.

Passed with bipartisan support, the Act directed the Delaware Department of Education to adopt age-appropriate curricula that helps to address bullying, teaches students how to identify misinformation, and encourages the development of safe and responsible online behavior.
